NOEL LONG, LSW

Noel Long is a License Social Worker who earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Youngstown State University. She completed her internship at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio and currently pursuing her Master of Social Work with a concentration in individual and family counseling. Noel is currently completing her graduate internship at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center Recovery and Addiction Program in Cleveland, Ohio. She has over 10 years of experiencing working with children/adolescences/adults who present with behavior health disorders, child developmental needs, child abuse and neglect, social/peer issues, crisis, depression, anxiety, difficulty adjusting, substance disorders, school issues, and anger management. Noel has worked as a community based, school based, and outpatient therapist and in addition provided individual and group counseling. Noel has applied and utilized Motivation Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Radical Acceptance of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Strength-based or Person-Centered, Emotive Rational Therapy, and Narrative Therapy as treatment. She has other experience in Housing Management and Counseling, Child Welfare Case Management, Family Advocacy, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and developmental delays/disabilities, Medical Social Worker (discharge planning), Wrap Facilitator, and Community Support Psychiatric Treatment (CSPT).
