Maggie Wilkins is a trauma-informed Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervisory designation. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Mercyhurst University and received her Masters of Social Science Administration from the University of Chicago. While obtaining her MSSA she had a clinical concentration in Family, Couples and Group therapy as well as Applied Behavioral Analysis. Maggie has gained valuable experience working in children’s residential treatment facilities, therapeutic preschools, Cook County Juvenile Court system – working with juvenile sex offenders, child protective services as well as working as a parent educator and service coordinator in Medina County.

Maggie is experienced in working with children, adolescents, young adults and families who are experiencing issues with trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, anger management, emotional regulation concerns, child and adolescent behavioral problems, parent training, blended family problems, separation, divorce, loss, grief, and abuse. She believes in a client centered approach and utilizes cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques. She is also trained in non-violent crisis intervention, advanced mediation and trauma informed care. Maggie is a current member of the National Association of Social Workers.
