Kayla Maximovich Ogg is a licensed professional counselor and published author who is passionate about inspiring change from within. Kayla earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Akron, where she served as the chapter President of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She has experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various mental disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders using CBT and MI techniques. Kayla is also able to implement Christian Counseling at the client’s discretion. No two human beings are quite alike; Kayla collaborates with clients to develop a unique and individualized approach to therapy. She aims to help clients ages twelve and older develop insight and achieve personal goals, while emphasizing wellness in a holistic sense. Kayla is eager to meet clients where they are and equip them with tools to manage their mental health, promote positive change, and facilitate a lifestyle of balance.
