ELLEN HOMLONG, M.ED., LPCC

Ellen Homlong, M.Ed., LPCC is a licensed professional clinical counselor and has worked extensively with adolescents, young adults and families in support of optimized level of functioning by building resiliency, personal wellness and interpersonal effectiveness. Ellen graduated with BS in Nutrition Management from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY and has 15+ years of health education experience as a Registered, OH Licensed Dietitian and Board Certified Diabetes Educator before pursuing graduate studies and obtaining a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. Ellen has completed training opportunities focusing on integrative approaches in treatment of mental health disorders and will address clients needs from both a physical and mental health perspective. While Ellen’s unique skill set has been particularly beneficial when working with clients struggling with eating disorders, she has significant experience supporting clients in the management of anxiety disorders, depression, emotional dysregulation and trauma/stressor related concerns.
