Brooke Beans is a graduate from the University of Akron, earning her BA in Social Work in 2022. She is working towards her Master’s degree in Social Work. She is a licensed social worker and has earned her chemical dependency counselor assistant licensure as well. Brooke has had extensive experience working in Akron Public Schools, offering school-based counseling/case management services to elementary school aged children in a variety of schools. Here she worked with children and families on behavioral and emotional regulation. Brooke is experienced with assisting children and family dynamics which include displacement, divorce, bullying and strengthening parenting skill sets to assist ADHD and other ineffective behavioral patterns. Brooke is passionate about mental health awareness and treatment, and her energy assists her to quickly gain a rapport with school aged children and their families.
