Andrea Vretas MFT, holds a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron. Ms. Vretas provides individual, couples and family therapy in an accepting and non-pathological based therapy approach. Andrea holds the belief that people do not exist in a vacuum; our interactions with and to others, our environment, culture and choices we make shape individuals. Ms. Vretas has worked with a variety of populations and is competent in many treatment modalities ranging from solution-focused, emotional regulation, effective communication, family dynamics & role, parenting education, de-escalation skill building, and therapeutic coping strategies. She takes a humanistic, client-centered approach and views the therapy experience as a collaborative journey where the client is the expert on what they need and the path for their life.
