CYNTHIA BOONE-McQUOWN, PCC-S, LICDC

Cynthia Boone-McQuown graduated with a BA in psychology from Kent State University in 1986 and was awarded her M.A.Ed. from the University of Akron, in 1991. Her graduate degree was through the Counseling department’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. She has been a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marital and Family Therapy since 1994. She is a supervising licensed clinical counselor and a licensed independent chemical dependency counselor with a supervision endorsement. Cynthia has extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders and chemical dependency. She has been a passionate supporter of promoting mental health and substance use disorder awareness and prevention programs, and she is active in the community with these efforts.
