Lisa Schaefer specializes in mental health and addiction treatment. Lisa graduated with her BS and MS in Forensic Psychology from Tiffin University and her MSSA from Case Western Reserve University. Lisa has extensive experience in the treatment of chemical dependency in outpatient, residential, and correctional settings with both adolescents and adults. Lisa is an international presenter on research regarding Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES). Lisa has presented research locally on the evidence based practices of addiction treatment. Lisa uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy in her practice. Lisa is studying to become a yoga instructor to teach clients how to incorporate yoga and meditation practices in the reduction of anxiety and depressive symptoms. She is a Member of the National Association of Social Workers.
