EVE FISHER-WHITMORE, PH.D.

Dr. Eve Whitmore received her B.A in Psychology from the University of Rochester, her M.A in Applied Developmental psychology from Ohio State University and her P.h.D in Applied Developmental Psychology with a specialty in Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Comprehensive Rehabilitation from the Ohio State University Medical School. Dr. Whitmore has experience in psycho-diagnostic and neuropsychological evaluations in a variety of settings. She has experience in the assessment of special populations, e.g. post-traumatic head injury, degenerative diseases, chronic pain, chronic illness, addictive behaviors, mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Dr. Whitmore provided education support to parents and families of individuals with illness, injury and developmental problems. Additionally, she works with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly providing supportive services assessment. Clinical areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, and adjustment to life stressors.
